This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance community engagement, promote the organization’s mission, and drive fundraising efforts. Duties Develop and execute community outreach programs to increase awareness of the organization’s initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, government agencies, and community organizations. Lead fundraising campaigns and events to support organizational goals. Collect and analyze data to assess community needs and measure program effectiveness. Manage budgets related to community programs and initiatives. Coordinate media relations efforts to promote events and initiatives through various channels. Create public relations materials that effectively communicate the organization’s mission and impact. Oversee volunteer management, including recruitment, training, and recognition of volunteers. Utilize marketing strategies to enhance visibility within the community. Serve as a spokesperson for the organization at public events and meetings. Experience Proven experience in public speaking and engaging diverse audiences effectively. Demonstrated success in fundraising activities or campaigns. Strong skills in data collection and analysis to inform decision-making processes. Experience in budgeting for community programs or initiatives. Knowledge of media relations practices, including writing press releases and managing social media platforms. Background in public relations with a focus on community engagement strategies. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; bilingual abilities are a plus. Experience in volunteer management, including organizing volunteer opportunities and events. Familiarity with marketing principles as they relate to community outreach efforts.
