Alternative Balance is looking for someone who thrives on finding new opportunities, developing engaging outreach ideas, and confidently presenting them to individuals and groups who align with our mission. As our Sales & Community Engagement Specialist, you’ll focus on growing our reach and sales through relationship-building, virtual presentations, and strategic collaboration. You’ll introduce our membership benefits—including insurance coverage and business tools—to aligned schools, organizations, and professionals, and help manage ongoing partnerships that bring extra value to our community.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify and engage with external schools, associations, and organizations aligned with the wellness, beauty and fitness professional services space who may benefit from our offerings to support larger-scale membership growth/sales.
- Present our offerings through scheduled webinars, virtual events, and meetings using set training materials.
- Build and manage partnerships that provide exclusive perks or business tools for our members.
- Ensure members are informed of available resources through consistent communication and website updates.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement creative outreach campaigns.
- Support affiliate program growth through outreach, communication, and resource updates.
- Track and report progress on growth and engagement.
What We’re Looking For:
- A confident communicator who enjoys virtual public speaking (webinars, Zoom, etc.).
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- A team player who’s excited to collaborate across departments and contribute to shared goals.
- Experienced in sales, outreach, marketing, or partnerships (3+ years preferred).
- Someone with creative energy who is excited to take action on ideas.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Passionate about health, wellness, or supporting small business owners.
- Comfortable using Zoom, Canva, Google Workspace, and CRM tools
- (Bonus) Familiarity with insurance – not required, we will train you on what we offer.

Job Type:
Full-Time, 9am – 5pm
M-F Compensation:
$28/hr – $40/hr depending on experience Alternative Balance is a family and woman-owned membership-based business. We offer liability insurance, business resources, and member collaboration to our members who are all alternative health, fitness, beauty and wellness professionals. We are looking for a positive, honest, hard working person who authentically enjoys working for the greater good of the team, the business, and its customers.
