Vineland, NJ Overview:
Seashore Fruit & Produce Co. is seeking a Director of Customer Success and Relationship Management who is passionate about sales and nurturing customer relationships to join our growing organization. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about the food industry and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role reports to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Key Duties:
For existing customers, be the primary point of contact and foster relationships, ensuring high overall satisfaction. Monitor deliveries to ensure orders are filled accurately and on time. Explain any quality issues, inventory levels, and order lead time to customers. Drive partner onboarding and life cycle management. Resolve customer issues expeditiously and with mutually agreed-upon solutions. Consistently review reports of customers with low performance and proactively develop recommendations to increase sales. Metrics (KPIs) for success include: % retention of top 25 customers % overall customer retention Total cases versus total spend Will manage a team of 8-10 direct reports. Be a coach and developer of associates to further develop their sales skills and competencies while being mindful of their core strengths, opportunities for improvement, and, as importantly, their short- and long-term career goals.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED. A bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing is strongly preferred. Ability to easily navigate our company technologies. Minimum of 7 years of proven experience with demonstrated results in Sales, preferably in the consumer products industry. Specifics will be discussed during the interview process. Minimum 5 years leading a team, with a solid track record of developing talent. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
