Lawrenceville, NJ Job duration: 06 Months As a MedicalCommunications Manager you will: The primary responsibility for theWW Medical Communications Manager is the development and executionof comprehensive, globally aligned strategic WW/US medicalpublications and content plans to support the effectivecommunication of data and launch for safe and effective use ofCLIENT medicines. Develop and update WW/US medical content perclinical development program, publications, data presentations,congress activity, MI inquiry trends, global communicationplatform, product safety reports and treatment landscape. KeyResponsibilities Primary accountabilities of the MedicalCommunications Manager include: Analyzes and interprets scientificdata to update or develop comprehensive, balanced, credible andaccurate documents that comply with applicable laws, regulations,guidance and CLIENT policies and procedures, and are used toappropriately communicate with healthcare providers and customersinvolved in healthcare or evidence-based healthcare decisions Leaddevelopment of medical communications and ensure timely journalsubmissions, publications, congress presentations, and deliverinternal and external scientific content Understands and complieswith established good publication practices (GPP3, ICMJE, andCLIENT processes) to execute the publication plan Manages andprioritizes multiple projects, provides solutions to complexproblems, and delivers complete and accurate information withindeadlines Assists with the communication of the Oncology strategyrelated to healthcare providers, payers, access influencers, andhealthcare decision makers Serve as a subject matter expert toCLIENT internal audiences related to communication landscape, HCPpreferences, publication and scientific content planning, datadisclosure / dissemination, and represent CLIENT scientificcommunications to external investigators, key authors and journaleditors Manages development of content deliverables, such asreactive materials for field medical and field HEOR use, includingcore slide decks, training materials, FAQs, and backgrounders toaddress specific unsolicited health care provider and payerrequests for health economic or outcomes research (HEOR)information Maintains awareness of current industry practices thatpertain to Medical Communications and Access Scientific ContentWork with cross-functional teams on a worldwide level to ensureconsistent messaging and communication of medical information andkey messages Support the global standardization of Medical contentto streamline creation, distribution and curation of content whileeliminating redundancies in resource utilization and deliverablesEnsure effective rollout and communication occurs, feedback loopsare implemented, and continuous improvement opportunities areidentified for content development Develops, maintains and enhancesa high level of knowledge in the respective therapeutic area(s) toprovide high quality medical communication support Manage vendoragency partnership to drive planning and execution of publicationand content deliverables

Required:

PharmD, MD, PhD or equivalentMinimum of 3-4 years of Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industryexperience with a focus on medical communications Ability to managevarious projects, solve problems, deliver on commitments, and workwith multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated ability to leadstrategically, drive performance, build alignment, inform,negotiate and collaborate Experience leading cross-functional,cross-cultural project teams, and collaborating across matrix,multiple markets and global geographies Experience leading medicalcommunications across all phases of drug development andcommercialization Ability to analyze and interpret trial data

Preferred:

Experience in solid tumor oncology In-depth knowledge ofGood Publication Practices and guidance (GPP, ICMJE), Sunshine Act,Pharma Code of Conduct, and other guidance related topost-marketing practices and scientific data communicationUnderstanding of clinical trial design and execution, statisticalmethods and clinical trial data reporting requirements Workingknowledge of Microsoft suite of applications, and familiar withpublication management tool (iEnvision) Qualified candidates should

Pay Range•: Between $110.37 to $ 117.85perhour. •Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based onseveral factors, including the candidate’s education, workexperience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,etc.
