Job Overview As Social Media Director, you will lead the development and execution of our group-wide social media strategy to drive engagement, build brand awareness, and support sales and service goals across all four dealerships. You will manage content creation, oversee online reputation, and ensure a consistent, authentic brand voice across all platforms. Duties Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Luv Automotive Group’s business objectives and brand guidelines. Oversee and create engaging, original content (text, images, video, stories) for multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and YouTube. Collaborate with sales, service, and marketing teams at each store to promote specials, events, and community involvement. Monitor, respond to, and manage customer reviews, comments, and messages to uphold our reputation and deliver exceptional customer service. Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics; adjust strategy based on data and trends. Train and support staff at each location on social media best practices and company policies to ensure consistency and compliance. Coordinate with external vendors, influencers, and community partners to maximize reach and engagement. Stay current with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to keep Luv Automotive Group at the forefront of digital marketing. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in social media management, preferably in automotive, retail, or franchise environments. Proven track record of growing social media audiences and driving engagement; portfolio or examples required. Deep understanding of all major social media platforms, their audiences, and content formats. Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills; basic photography and video editing abilities a plus. Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite). Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively across locations. Passion for the automotive industry and community involvement. Bilingual abilities a plus.
