Job Description
Our enterprise telecom client is looking for an HR Communications Strategist to join their team for 12 months. They are looking for a dynamic, creative communicator to help reach and engage their employees in benefits, wellness, performance management, career development, cultural moments and other key initiatives. This is a hybrid role, 2 days/week on-site, out of Basking Ridge, NJ or New York, NY. This is a 40 hour per week role.
Hybrid:
Tues-Wed in office or Tues & Thurs, flexibleResponsibilities will include
- Partnering with internal functions (including Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Employee Resource Groups, etc.) to create communications plans that reach and engage employees and build advocacy
- Creating feature articles, emails, newsletters, videos and content that motivate employees to engage in their benefits and HR programs
- Developing effective communications that clearly convey the company’s mission and strategy to support key business priorities
- Planning, producing and editing content for a variety of media including presentations, events, leader messages, social media posts and videos
- Proofreading and editing content, ensuring achievement of high editorial standards and alignment with our brand voice
- Partnering with the Corporate Communications Shared Services team on design, development and message distribution
- Coordinating the distribution of communications through a variety of channels
- Assisting in tracking and measuring the effectiveness of communications.
You’ll need to have
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant work experience
- Project management experience
- Substantial experience creating employee-centric HR-related communications materials
- Strong copyediting and proofreading skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to support multiple projects and clients and work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
Even better if you have one or more of the following
- Experience managing corporate change programs-Experience in public relations, marketing and social media-Creative design skills-Ability to learn and understand systems-Computer-savvy with experience using Google Suite
- Experiencing in Poppulo or other mass email systems-Experience in building and managing intranet sites and articlesIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
