The Role:

In alignment with our commercial objectives, the Associate Director/Director of Oncology Strategic Partners will compliantly create and execute a comprehensive promotional strategy with oncology strategic partners (e.g.: Cencora, Ontada, Cardinal Health Marketing and Engagement, NCODA, COA, OnCare Alliance, OneOncology, AON, COPA, ATOPP, NCCN, HOPA, CMSA, etc.). The role will identify and lead all promotional activities (e.g.: exhibits, sponsorships, in-practice programs, webinars, e-communication, advisory boards, etc.) while collaborating with Marketing, Market Access – Trade, the Commercial Engagement Team, Commercial Operations, Field Medical, Legal, Compliance, and Finance. The Associate Director/Director will identify applicable promotional tactics, execute SOWs within defined budget, manage service contracts, and assess the overall effectiveness of our strategic partner promotional strategy against our commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with Marketing, Market Access – Trade, and the Customer Engagement field team to identify, develop, and implement promotional tactics to optimize corporate awareness, brand awareness, and support product pull-through.
Lead, coordinate, and execute all promotional related tactics in collaboration with Marketing, Market Access – Trade, and Customer Engagement.
Engage and partner with key oncology strategic partners and develop a comprehensive promotional oncology engagement strategy.
Engage and partner with key oncology strategic partners and identify and engage in pre-approval tactics aligned with the Brand initiatives.
Act as the liaison and key subject matter expert for internal stakeholders and inform all related functions on opportunities.
Report out on completed initiatives performance metrics to ensure commercial objectives were met.
Facilitate, coordinate, and attend industry meetings.
Identify issues and opportunities and develop creative solutions to improve efficiency and profitability. Challenge strategic partners to develop innovative initiatives to meet Syndax objectives.
Monitor competitive landscape to identify competitive challenges and opportunities to further differentiate Syndax relative to the competition.
Ensure KPIs are implemented and monitored to achieve our commercial goals while working within the assigned budget.
Negotiate and execute master service agreements and SOWs as needed.
Create annual budget in collaboration with Finance.

Mandatory Experience:

Bachelor’s degree.
Five (5) years of direct Account management experience with oncology strategic partners (Cencora, Ontada, Cardinal Health Marketing and Engagement, NCODA, COA, OnCare Alliance, OneOncology, AON, COPA, ATOPP, NCCN, HOPA, etc.)
Existing relationships with key oncology strategic partners.
Oral oncology experience.
Successful demonstration of contract negotiation.

Ability to take initiative and work independently, identifying what needs to be done and completing tasks without requiring a lot of ongoing guidance and instruction.
50-60%+ travel required for this role.

Location:

Syndax’s corporate office is in New York, NY.
Syndax offers a total compensation and rewards package that is among the most competitive in the industry. Base pay is just one element of our package and is determined within a range based on several factors including market data, experience, qualifications, demonstrated skills, relevant education or training, travel requirements and internal equity. Our overall package also includes an equity offering, annual target bonuses, and an outstanding benefits program. The anticipated annualized salary range for this role is $195,000 – $215,000.
