America. The Director/Senior Director – E-commerce is a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving digital commerce growth and innovation. This role oversees the planning, execution, and optimization of e-commerce initiatives across platforms, ensuring seamless customer experiences and alignment with business objectives. Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams—technology, marketing, operations, and product—to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that enhance revenue, customer engagement, and digital maturity.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and lead the overall e-commerce strategy to drive digital sales growth and improve customer experience.
Oversee the end-to-end management of digital commerce platforms, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, technology, operations, product) to deliver cohesive e-commerce solutions.
Evaluate and implement new technologies and platforms that enhance the commerce ecosystem.
Establish KPIs and use data-driven insights to optimize conversion rates, customer engagement, and retention.
Lead and mentor a team of architects, developers, and product managers in delivering high-quality e-commerce initiatives.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery excellence.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge. Requirements
12+ years of experience in e-commerce and digital transformation.
Proven success in managing large-scale digital commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Big Commerce, Shopify and Commerce background).
Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, personalization, and omnichannel strategies.
Demonstrated success in building and scaling omnichannel commerce strategies across B2B and B2C environments.
Deep knowledge of integration with backend systems
Solid grasp of modern technologies including cloud services, headless architecture, and API-first approaches.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
