About the Role Everest is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Lead to drive employee engagement initiatives within our organization. Reporting to the Chief Communications Officer, the Internal Communications Lead will play a pivotal role in enhancing our measurable internal communication strategies, increasing engagement and fostering a positive and inclusive global workplace culture. Acting as a partner and counselor to various internal stakeholders and functional Heads, the Internal Communications Lead will support the internal and external PR and communications that augment the organization’s reputation to reflect our aspirations and long-term strategic objectives. This includes a background in crisis communications. We are looking for an excellent communicator, strategic writer and campaign-focused professional with an entrepreneurial spirit and deep understanding of change management, reputation management, storytelling and brand building. This is a position that combines the excitement and energy of being part of building up a department with the strength and standing of an established, respected institution and executive team. This role also has a strong emphasis on writing and content development, internal client service, organization skills and team and project management. This role is based in New York City, NY working a hybrid schedule of 3 days a week in the office, 2 days remote. Responsibilities Serve as the company’s corporate communications support, executing an internal communications strategy that drives business and reputation objectives, effectively reaching internal and external stakeholders across owned, earned, and paid channels. Work with leaders across Everest to understand the goals and initiatives of the Group and corporate function to inform the company’s positioning, communications campaigns, and other strategic support. Craft and deliver effective, measurable internal campaigns, messaging and related materials (e.g., communications plans, strategy and employee memos, town hall presentations, executive communications, press releases, message tracks, speeches, Q&As, stakeholder communications, social media content). Project manage and drive branding and communications initiatives, campaigns, events, including managing workplans, deadlines, and budgets. Manage the Company’s intranet and identify engaging strategies to leverage and share content. Work closely to support the Chief Communications Officer and serve as a partner to other senior members of the communications team leading PR at the business division level. Lead crisis and issues communications management. Work with internal leadership to respond effectively to emerging issues while also anticipating and planning for them. Manage outside communications and marketing agencies as integral members of our extended team. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience in strategic communications, PR or related fields, with a preference for financial services or relevant industry experience. Exceptional verbal and strategic written communications skills as well as strategic and critical thinking abilities. Experience developing and managing integrated communications campaigns targeting multiple audiences and aligning messages across own, paid, and earned channels. Experience with crisis communications, issues management, and, ideally, change management. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects, meeting deadlines and budgets. Experience working with highly regulated, publicly traded global organizations is a plus. Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills, including the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment. The ability to thrive under pressure and handle multiple complex projects in a fast-moving, deadline-oriented environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. For NY Only:

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 – $205,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
