Full Job Description Position Summary:

Food Bank For New York City is launching its most ambitious and integrated fundraising campaign in its history—and we are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Campaign Manager to help drive it forward. This position will support the project management of the campaign while also helping sustain the rhythm of our ongoing major and principal gifts program. The Campaign Manager will serve as the central hub for campaign logistics and coordination, ensuring clarity, accountability, and momentum across teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a collaborative spirit. Compensation for this role is between $90k – 110k Key Responsibilities Campaign Operations & Project Management Serve as a liaison with campaign counsel and other consultants to manage scheduling, deliverables, and ongoing workflow. Track and manage campaign timelines and milestones, ensuring team members remain accountable to deadlines and deliverables. Coordinate internal and external campaign-related meetings, including agenda development, scheduling, note-taking, follow-up, and materials preparation. Manage the campaign calendar and ensure alignment across departments and senior leadership. Build and maintain campaign briefs for internal and external use. Work with outside vendors including marketing and communications agencies, graphic designers, printers, and other service providers to execute campaign collateral and deliverables. Data, Reporting & Research Maintain accurate campaign data and pipeline in Raiser’s Edge NXT, including gift tracking, pledges, donor stages, and actions. Work closely with Development Operations and Prospect Research teams to track campaign metrics and ensure data integrity. Generate timely reports and campaign communications, including progress updates for senior leadership, the board, and external stakeholders. Donor & Committee Engagement Coordinate scheduling and logistics for Campaign Cabinet and other key working groups. Prepare meeting materials, talking points, and background research for committee meetings and individual donor engagements with leadership. Partner with relationship managers to ensure seamless internal support and follow-up for donor strategies. Help plan and execute donor cultivation and stewardship events related to the campaign. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in campaign operations, or nonprofit project management. Experience supporting or managing a capital or comprehensive campaign strongly preferred. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage up and across to ensure deadlines are met. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency with fundraising databases (Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling materials for diverse audiences. Comfortable working with high-level stakeholders including board members, major donors, and senior executives. Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented.
