As we grow, we’re looking for a creative, organized, and social media-savvy individual to join our team and elevate our online presence.
Position Overview:
We’re seeking a part-time Social Media & Content Manager to manage and grow our social media platforms, with a primary focus on Instagram and to oversee and overhaul our business website. This role involves hands-on content creation, including visiting job sites to capture photos and videos, crafting engaging posts and reels, and maintaining up-to-date project galleries and blog content on our website.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage social media content calendars (primarily
Instagram:
posts, stories, and reels).
- Capture photo and video content on job sites, client spaces, and behind-the-scenes moments.
- Edit and curate high-quality, brand-aligned content for social media and our website.
- Manage and update our business website, including current projects, service offerings and blog posts.
- Stay on top of social media trends, interior design digital content, and platform updates to keep our online presence fresh and engaging.
- Coordinate with the design team for project updates and promotional opportunities.
- Track and report on social media and website engagement metrics.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital content creation, or similar roles.
- Strong photography and video skills, with the ability to shoot and edit content independently.
- Proficiency in Instagram tools (posts, reels, stories) and social media scheduling platforms.
- Experience managing website content (Squarespace or similar platforms).
- Excellent writing skills for captions, blog posts, and web content.
- Strong eye for design and aesthetics, ideally with a passion for interior design.
- Based in NYC or nearby, with the ability to travel to job sites as needed; hybrid work environment.
