Internal and External Position Description Manage the organization’s internal and non-marketing external communication initiatives. This role will develop and execute strategic corporate communications plans that build trust, enhance transparency, and strengthen community and media relationships. Work closely with internal teams to understand complex concepts and convey them in a compelling manner.

Essential Job Tasks:

Develops and implements public relations strategies that reinforce the organization’s vision, mission, and goals.
Develops and implements internal communications program to ensure employees are informed and engaged.
Works cross-functionally with internal teams to align organization messaging and support initiatives.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with local, state, and regional media outlets.
Manages media inquiries, media events, press releases, and interviews.
Manages non-marketing customer-focused communications and general external communications. Position Requirements •This position may be eligible for hybrid (remote and in person arrangement). Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or Business Administration (with a marketing focus) and + 10 years of experience or Master’s Degree + 8 years experience.
Certifications are preferred in the following areas: APR (Accredited in Public Relations),. Strategic Communication Management Professional (SCMP), Communication Management Professional (CMP), Change Management Certification or Internal Communications Certificate.

Compensation Information:

$114,360 – $142,940 (min. – mid.)
