Job Description
Community Engagement Manager Humanities Foundation Charleston, SC 29403 Join Our Team! Humanities Foundation is seeking a compassionate and dependable Community Engagement Manager to support our senior and family communities. This full-time role involves coordinating transportation, delivering meals, assisting with educational and outreach programs, and supporting resident-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Meal Program Support :
Deliver meals safely and accurately as part of the Summer Feeding Program, ensure proper food handling, record temperatures, and maintain detailed delivery logs.
Transportation Services :
Coordinate transportation schedules, safely transport residents to events and appointments, and maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of company vehicles.
Resident Engagement :
Promote and help organize events and activities for seniors and families, distribute marketing materials, and encourage participation in programs.
Community Programs :
Assist with summer camps, afterschool tutoring, and mentoring programs at family communities. Support emergency assistance efforts through ShelterNet as needed.
Collaboration & Outreach :
Work closely with property managers, resident services staff, and community partners to plan shared events and leverage outside resources for resident programs.
Compliance & Safety :
Follow all safety regulations and program guidelines, ensure certifications (DOT, OSHA) are up to date, and secure waivers for participant activities.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license & clean driving record High school diploma or GED Ability to lift 75-100 lbs Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
