Summary
Wild Dunes Resort, located on the Isle of Palms, South Carolina, is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager. In this hands-on role, you’ll enhance the visibility and identity of our resort, restaurants, and experiences through strategic marketing campaigns andpelling brand storytelling. You will lead integrated marketing initiatives that captivate guests, spotlight our key pillars of the resort, offers, and drive measurablemercial success.
Duties and responsibilities of the Marketing Communications Manager role
Lead the development and execution of annual marketing plans for the hotel, with a strong emphasis on promoting its key pillars (amodations, golf, spa, F & B, events, and weddings)- ensuring alignment withmercial targets and brand positioning
Be responsible for all brand, digital, and marketing activity across channels
Manage content creation for social media, s, and paid media, ensuring all posts are on-brand and timely
Deliver targeted campaigns that drive both brand awareness andmercial results
Conduct ongoing market research to stay attuned to social trends, guest dining behaviors, andpetitor activity in the local hotel, restaurant, and wider hospitality scene.
Build strong local connections through PR, influencer engagement, and strategic partnerships
Support overallmercial goals through coordinated marketing efforts across F&B, Rooms, Experiences, and Meetings & Events, ensuring balanced attention.
Collaborate closely with key departments to create campaigns that support outlet goals and enhance the guest experience
Monitor industry trends andpetitor activity to inform best practices
Track campaign performance and manage marketing budgets to optimize ROI
This position is a Property-Based role.
Qualifications
About you
Strong background in marketing,munications, or brand management, ideally within the hospitality industry
Skilled in multi-channel campaigns across digital, social, content, and PR
Proven ability to develop and execute impactful marketing strategies
Confident with Meta, digital tools, CMS platforms, and design software
Creative thinker with a sharp eye for brand storytelling and visual identity
Highlyanized, proactive, analytical, and results-driven
Strongmunicator who thrives in cross-functional, collaborative environments
Experience working with agencies, media partners, and influencers
