Position Overview:

Wild Dunes Resort is seeking a Social Media Manager responsible forplanning and executing social media strategies to boost brandawareness and drive engagement. This role requires a passion forsocial media and guest experience. The ideal candidate willappreciate how social media impacts the overall travel experienceand should be flexible, agile, and able to work collaborativelywith the entire team to ensure that the brand’s communicationobjectives and strategies are met.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Media Management, or arelated business field with a minimum of one year of demonstratedwork experience with social media success. Responsibilities Develop and plan social media content aligned with Marketingeditorial calendar, for use on various platforms, including but notlimited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, andPinterest. Manage social media accounts by drafting copy, curatingimages/video, scheduling, monitoring, and tracking traffic. Monitor social media platforms and provide weekly performanceupdates and monthly/quarterly reports, tracking success andidentifying growth areas. Provide regular reporting for content performance and developstrategies for content to ensure continued engagement and growthacross all social channels. Create engaging and data-driven content, including photography,short-form video, live streams, and graphics that align with thebrand voice on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, andPinterest. Manage in-house paid social media budget and work with theAssociate Marketing Director to establish an effective andinformative strategy. Establish relationships with followers and partner businessaccounts. Listen to our audience and engage in conversation dailythrough our Facebook and Instagram-owned channels. Collaborative strategy with the onsite Marketing team anddepartment leaders in key segment areas, including Food & Beverage,Golf, Spa, Recreation, and more. Execute multiple projects in a deadline-oriented and fast-pacedenvironment. Attend property events, activities, etc., to capturecontent. Serve as the departmental expert to stay ahead of new andchanging social media strategies, platform tools, and industrytrends. Work in a collaborative environment and incorporate critiquesand feedback. Work closely with the digital agency to optimize social mediaperformance & digital marketing campaigns.

Qualifications:

Experience & Skills Minimum 2-3 years of experience Excellent grammar and writing skills, and experience in socialmedia writing/demonstrated knowledge of best practices perplatform. Attention to detail & proofing skills are a must. Experience with content tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite,Social Cloud, Sprout Social, and/or Meta Ads is preferred. A solid grasp of the role that social and digital media playsin a brand’s communication mix and the ability to educate othersabout it effectively A solid understanding of online outreach and the ability todevelop appropriate social engagement strategies. Proven ability to work effectively and independently and withina team. Highly creative with design experience. Ability to create anengaging, refined digital experience using a mix ofmediums/formats. Exceptional organization & communication skills. Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously & meettight deadlines. Eagerness to learn & develop within the role. Knowledge of video and photography production. Experience with Bulk Email Platforms & Content ManagementSystems is a plus. Hospitality and/or general marketing experience is a plus.
