Maintains regular contact with existing customers while targeting and prospecting for new customers to increase MTC’s visibility as a valued partner. Serves as a consultant and advisor for customers. Establishes contacts with all key personnel within designated areas of focus and ensures that all information is documented in a database. Interacts with organizations and associations to provide outreach and community relations to raise awareness of MTC’s Corporate and Continuing Education and credit offerings. Maintains strong professional knowledge of marketplace issues, industry trends and legislative issues in order to support customers. Maintains working knowledge of all corporate and continuing education programs as well as the overall capabilities of MTC to match customer training needs with the appropriate MTC solution. Analyzes industry trends to determine future training needs of a designated industry. Works with program professionals and staff to develop products to meet customer needs. Serves as a member of the Corporate and Continuing Education leadership team. Reports all activities with customers in a formal report. This position is located on the Midlands Technical College Northeast or Harbison Campus. Minimum and Additional Requirements A bachelor’s degree and relevant program experience. Must have valid SC Driver’s License. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of related sales or account management experience. This position requires the highest level of customer focus skills, diverse and creative thinking, project management skills, written and verbal communication skills, and negotiating skills. Must be flexible and capable of making sound decisions quickly. Must be excellent at leveraging the capabilities of the programming professionals and the operations staff.
