Position Summary Information Position Summary This position is primarily responsible for managing the EAB Navigate 360 CRM system, as well as supporting additional student success technologies including Campus ESP and EdReady. The Specialist will collaborate with university stakeholders, develop training programs for faculty and staff, and utilize data analytics to inform university leaders on key student success metrics. This role also requires participation in university-wide committees and continuous professional development to remain current in the field. The Student Success Technology Specialist plays a critical role in advancing student retention and success initiatives through the effective administration and optimization of student success technologies. Austin Peay State University is a four-year public, doctoral-level university, with six colleges and four Chairs of Excellence. The University has an enrollment of over 10,000 students and is located in Clarksville, Tennessee, a community of an estimated 180,000 people located approximately 40 miles northwest of Nashville, TN. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Administer and optimize the EAB Navigate 360 CRM and other student success technology platforms (Campus ESP, EdReady, Forage, Career Coach).
Design and conduct training sessions for faculty and staff to ensure effective adoption and utilization of student success technologies.
Analyze student success data using dashboards and analytics tools to generate reports for university leadership, supporting data-driven decision-making.
Customize CRM features to meet the institution’s evolving needs and integrate various technology platforms in collaboration with IT.
Serve on the Navigate Strategy Leadership Team and, as needed, on college and university-wide committees.
Support technology-related projects, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and timelines.
Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders, delivering presentations and providing one-on-one and group training.
Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay informed of new features available in the student success technology tools.

Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and SungardHE Banner.
Ability to maintain accurate files and records, both electronically and on paper.

Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work in a team environment as well as complete tasks individually
Physical Requirements Sedentary Work:
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Required Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, information systems, mathematics, or a related discipline.
Strong technical acumen with an understanding of CRM systems, data integration, and student success technology tools.
Demonstrated understanding of project management principles and effective collaboration with IT teams.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present actionable insights.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, comfortable interacting with audiences in both one-on-one and group settings.
Preferred:
Experience administering CRM systems.
