Role:
We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the full school year. This role provides a rewarding opportunity to work with students, helping them improve communication skills that are essential for academic and social success. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll assess, diagnose, and implement therapy plans to support student growth and achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student goals. Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress. Maintain thorough records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations.
Qualifications:
Active Alabama SLP license or eligibility to obtain one. Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
ASHA CCC-SLP
certification preferred (CFs are welcome to apply). Experience in a school-based setting is a plus. Strong communication and organizational skills.
