Job Summary:
As a member of the admissions team, the Coordinator of Undergraduate Recruitment Communication develops engaging messages for prospective undergraduate students (both domestic and international), their parents and supporters, school counselors, and other audiences. This role involves creating clear, concise, and strategic messages to encourage action. The coordinator also assists in developing and maintaining recruitmentmunication plans, a content calendar, and a style guide, while measuring and enhancingmunication effectiveness. Additionally, they will assist the Associate Director of Recruitment Communication and Technology in overseeing the student staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Management:
Create and/or put pre-crafted content into production for various recruitmentmunication plans with direction from the supervisor.
Proofread and edit content before publishing.
Assist with developing and maintaining content for departmental webpages.
Assist withpletingmunication requests from other offices.
Assist in the creation and management of a content calendar and style guide.
Attend training and seek out resources (LinkedIn Learning, AACRAO, etc.) to stay current on trends in marketing,munication, and higher education.
Collaborate with International House and Programs to create and maintain specific content for international undergraduate student prospects, applicants, or admits.
Review and updatemunication plans already in production.
Front Office Assistance:
Assist in overseeing front officemunications, including email accounts, iing/outgoing calls, walk-in guests, and print mail with the assistance of the Admissions Student Worker team.
Assist in managing the Admissions Student Workers, including hiring and training.
Maintain the handbook and training processes for student workers.
Communication Analytics:
Trackmunication analytics and generate reports for the leadership team.
Utilize recruitment systems to publishmunication, including CRM Recruit and Texting Platforms.
Import data into CRM Recruit.
Attend monthly and yearly trainings with the Admissions Counselor team to prepare for training student workers and ensuring cohesive customer service in the front office.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Marketing, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with a CRM
Experience in writing professionalmunication
