COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR-HSOM 4.1 4.1

out of 5 stars Birmingham, AL 35205 Description To coordinate communications projects for the Heersink School of Medicine or a department/center, which may include digital and administration support. To research information, develop content and help disseminate written and visual content for web, email, and publications. To collaborate with other team members at school/department/center level to carry out initiatives and measure success with metrics. To support communication workflow and best practices. Work with communications manager to fulfill communication responsibilities for the department. These responsibilities include website management, internal e-newsletters, social media, article writing, graphic design, event support, and recruitment.

Salary Range:

$43,890 – $50,000 Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Graphic Design, Journalism, or a related field and one (1) year of experience. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
