Location:
Huntsville, AL Area
Provides education to the community, churches and civic organizations on the process and importance of organ and tissue donation. Provides educational materials during health fairs and professional conferences so the community will have access to information. Actively identifies and develops new opportunities to educate the community on organ and tissue donation. Able to present information in formal and informal settings (public speaking). Displays good rapport and professionalism with all clients and audiences. Oversees volunteer program and assists with special events.
Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
Bachelor’s degree. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications required.
Preferred:
Degree in education/health education preferred. Experience and familiarity with medical terms and healthcare preferred. Experience with volunteers and previous teaching experience preferred.
LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION
Required:
Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured.
Preferred:
None required.
