The Worldwide Safety, Health, Engineering and Sourcing (WSHES) Creative team is the department that inspires our Guests and over 100,000 Cast Members globally to make safe and healthy choices through engaging stories, humor, and creative solutions. We make safety, wellness, and training come alive through innovative communications that include infographics, videos, dynamic signage, and storytelling. The Communications & Graphic Design Specialist will work closely with Safety and Health partners and clients to develop programs and messaging for internal campaigns. You will report to the Graphic Design & Comms Integration Manager This is a Full-Time Role What You Will Do Develop and implement comprehensive employee communication strategies and execute tactics that inform, engage, and empower cast members while fostering a culture of safety and health across Disney Experiences Support the WSHES executive team through content development, script writing, and communications support Develop and execute communication plans that promote various WSHES initiatives Provide project management support for safety and health initiatives, such as National Safety Month, driving safety, and flu shot campaigns Create content for electronic and print communications, including e-newsletters, flyers, and print publications Develop content and communication materials to support executive town halls Produce video content and photography support as needed Required Qualifications & Skills One to two years of professional experience required Exceptional presentation development and written communication skills Strong capabilities in copy-editing and proofreading, with a sound understanding of AP style guidelines Experienced in project management, adept at collaborating with multiple partners, and adhering to timelines Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) as well as the Microsoft Office suite Knowledgeable in website UI and UX design Skilled in generating creative ideas independently while accommodating project-specific constraints Able to mentor junior team members effectively Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners Comfortable interacting with senior-level leadership Preferred Qualifications Experience in video and photography Familiarity with Aloha, Cast Life platform Skill in organizing and conveying technical information Proficient with content management systems such as Smartsheet Education Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia or Visual Communications, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience #li-sb6 #DPEPFLA
