Marketing Communications Specialist 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Altamonte Springs, FL 32701 • Hybrid work Eagle Roofing Products, the nation’s largest privately held concrete roof tile manufacturer is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist (MCS) to join our dynamic Marketing team. This individual will be responsible for collaborating with other marketing and sales professionals to develop, plan and execute impactful marketing strategies that will be used to promote Eagle’s products and services, maximize brand awareness as well as strengthen customer engagement and drive lead conversions. This MCS will act as the voice of the company’s brand for attracting new customers and retaining existing customers via a wide range of marketing and promotional materials. This exempt position requires a blend of creativity, good storytelling, and planning to develop, execute and analyze strategic communication and marketing initiatives. The Marketing Communications Specialist will plan, develop, write and coordinate content for a wide variety of needs including: newsletters, brochures, flyers, direct mail, press releases, advertising, web pages, email campaigns, social media, blogs, and other marketing communication. In addition, he/she will work with external vendors to coordinate photography and videography that highlights our company, products, projects, and goals. Finally, this role will also be responsible for executing internal and external events, which may include leadership meetings, national sales meetings, customer service conferences and trade shows to name a few. He/she will be instrumental in creating marketing and event plans and monitoring expenditures. The MCS will also collaborate and provide assistance on special projects and assignments as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Facilitates internal and external marketing, communications and public relations strategies for brand exposure and to boost sales. In addition, analyzes data from marketing campaigns to measure ROI, identify trends, and make data-driven adjustments for improvement. Manages multiple projects independently that require but is not limited to: crafting messaging across various channels, creating content calendars, overseeing all aspects of an event, managing budgets, as well as monitoring campaign performance metrics. Develops engaging visuals and written materials to effectively attract and engage all target audiences based on organizational and user needs, such as product brochures and flyers, articles, infographics, newsletters, email campaigns, presentations and social media posts. Writes, updates, and maintains Eagle’s website content ensuring that the information is accurate and concise, engaging, and easily accessible by our customers. Researches, writes, and updates content for both of Eagle’s blogs as well as maintains our editorial calendar. Writes, edits, and distributes Eagle’s press releases, as well as manages press inquiries and effectively tracks and analyzes press release performance. Plays a role in Eagle’s video content working with both the Director of Marketing and our digital agency to come up with copy and concepts and participate in providing editing feedback. Plans, organizes, and executes all company events both internal and external which includes negotiating vendor contracts, coordinating logistics and client communication, as well as managing budgets. Uses Canva to assist in the development and design of graphics used in our digital platforms. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop content strategies, and ensures consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all communication channels. Compiles and assesses success metrics/ROI of communication campaigns.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILIITES

: In order to create credible and effective print and online content, the MCS will be responsible to learn about the structure of our industry, our company and its history, our products, installation processes, components, new markets, as well as the fundamentals of Exterior Design, Color and Architecture. This knowledge will be derived from research, reviewing all existing Eagle and competitive collateral and digital assets as well cross-regional and cross-departmental peer immersion and training. As is the case for all Eagle Team Members, the Marketing Communications Specialist must treat people with respect, work ethically, have integrity, accept responsibility for his/her own actions and uphold the Vision, Values and Objectives (VVO’s) of Eagle Roofing Products. In addition, he/she will develop and maintain good working relationships with Eagle’s Leadership, Regional Sales Managers, Customer Service Managers and Account Representatives, as well as foster a working relationship with our vendors. Works collaboratively with the Director of Marketing on content development and any other needs that may arise. Will be cross-trained in all of the major functions of the department including email marketing, graphic design, CRM management, homeowner consultations, architectural programs and more. Will spearhead and/or assist with other marketing projects and department tasks on an as-needed basis. Accepts any and all requests from direct superiors to undertake any project, task or challenge. Takes ownership of each project and demonstrate responsibility to complete it successfully, meeting all completion deadlines, performance/results criteria, etc. Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field required. 2+ years of experience in marketing communications with proven track record of successful campaigns. Will entertain recent college graduates with internship experience in marketing, events and/or public relations. Sound understanding of marketing principles needed including how to increase brand awareness, promote company products or services and drive prospects to conversions. Familiarity with B2B and B2C advertising campaigns Exceptional copy writing skills including proper grammar, punctuation and spelling and editing a must. Completes projects quickly with a keen attention to detail. Passion for learning, trying new things, assessing what works and making quick alterations to the plan. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic, data-driven decisions a must. Ability to work independently as well as with a team with a client service mindset. Solutions-oriented thinker with the ability to manage projects and expectations of internal and external clients and team members. Travel a few times a year will be required to attend a trade show, regional sales meeting, industry event, etc. Ability to perform some physical requirements of the position, which may include picking up, carrying and lifting 10-20 lbs. of concrete roof tile, sample boxes, and event items. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of design programs such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop or InDesign is a plus .
