Description Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a Communications Specialist for one of our clients in Greensboro, NC! This position is a hybrid contract opportunity. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Communications Specialist with a flair for design to join our growing team. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who excels in crafting compelling content and has hands-on experience with visual design tools. The ideal candidate will support both internal and external communications efforts, ensuring that our brand voice and visual identity are consistent across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop, write, and edit engaging content for various channels including press releases, newsletters, social media, email campaigns, blogs, and internal communications. + Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure messaging aligns with brand strategy and company goals. + Assist in the creation of visual assets such as social media graphics, email templates, slide decks, and infographics. + Maintain and update content on the company’s website and intranet. + Support event communications and promotional materials (digital and print). + Monitor communication channels and provide insights and recommendations for engagement improvement. + Ensure consistent tone, style, and messaging across all touchpoints. + Help coordinate media outreach and manage press lists as needed.
Requirements Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. + 1-3 years of experience in a communications, marketing, or related role. + Basic knowledge of design software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), or similar tools. + Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. + Ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging content. + Solid organizational and project management skills with attention to detail. + Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems (WordPress a plus).
