McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is currently searching for a Full-time Marketing and Communications Specialist to work in its Development department at its headquarters in Charlotte, NC. This is a hybrid role . How will you help us achieve our mission?
You will:
Develop and execute marketing and communication plans to promote McLeod Centers for Wellbeing. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing and communication strategies and adjust as needed. Compile data into clear, actionable reports, providing insights and recommendations to optimize digital strategies and improve audience engagement. Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and reach. Create, schedule, post, and monitor content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). Design and produce print materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, and newsletters. Create electronic materials including email newsletters, digital ads, and social media graphics. Regularly update and maintain the organization’s website to ensure content is current and accurate. Monitor website performance and troubleshoot any issues. Collaborate with team members to develop compelling stories and messages that highlight the organization’s impact. Write and coordinate all press releases and public relations efforts for the organization. Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels by maintaining the organization’s brand identity, messaging, and visual standards. What are the qualifications needed for this role? You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. You have 2+ years’ experience in marketing and communications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; precise writer with experience in content creation across multiple platforms. Familiarity with website content management systems, photography, videography, SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and social media analytics tools will be beneficial in this role. Social media content development and management across platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram, with the ability to engage audiences and monitor performance. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Demonstrated curiosity, integrity, and initiative.
