Position Summary:

The Communication Coordinator is responsible for supporting the creation and implementation of the organizations communication strategies.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None Essential Functions/Responsibilities of the

Position:

Developing and writing content for various platforms like websites, social media, print media, and marketing materials. Plan, develop, implement, and organize events and volunteers to advance the mission and goals of the organization. Participate in internal and external committees, boards and other structured meetings. Creating visual content like infographics and videos. Ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with the organizations brand and messaging. Manage social media accounts and online platforms. Coordinate email campaigns and newsletters. Ensure consistent messaging across all channels. Manage internal newsletters, organizational updates, etc. Ensure clear and effective communication between teams and departments. Maintain the organizations public image and reputation. Collaborate with the management team, risk and QA/QI manager and patient services representative to respond to inquiries and concerns from community members and other interested parties. Plan, coordinate, and execute special events. Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:
EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent General Education Development (GED) certificate Associate’s degree in communication or public relations preferred

EXPERIENCE

(YearsCertifications) : Prior experience in public and/or internal communications

SKILLS:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet timelines as directed. Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work extremely well as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects while working independently.
