“. The Communications Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients and referring physician offices. This role is responsible for answering incoming phone calls, scheduling referral appointments, verifying insurance benefits, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a fast-paced medical office environment. Past experience in medical or rehab clinic preferred. Ability to work in a fast and dynamic workplace…. Responsibilities Answers, screens, and directs calls to appropriate parties Schedules patient visits and office visits based on patient needs Performs general clerical duties such as taking payments, filing, typing, copying, scanning, faxing etc. Other duties as assigned by manager Required Skills Previous experience in medical office preferred but not required. Customer service experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
