Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Digital Communications Assistant will help enhance efficiency and workflow velocity for the Digital Communications team by supporting the team’s various day-to-day administrative functions. He/she will work closely with team members to assist with project management, digital content updates, copywriting and editing, and other support roles.
Core Duties/Responsibilities:
Entry-level role Assistance with general project/traffic management for the Digital Communications team Meet with internal clients to capture requirements for new projects Manage project tasks in Jira Work Management project tracking system Assist with administrative-level digital-focused work Updating content/assets on orgs.com through website Content Management System (CMS), Ektron Recording notes at designated team meetings Providing basic HTML and CSS updates supporting jea.com and email communications Writing/editing/copyediting to support website, e-newsletters, and special projects as designated by the Owned Communications Manager and/or Director of Digital Communications.
Skills:
The successful candidate must be comfortable using common project and task management solutions. He or she should also be skilled in copywriting and editing digital content for publication to consumer audiences. He or she should be familiar with web content management systems and have a basic knowledge of HTML and CSS coding for occasional front-end updates to ORG’s website and emails.
