Remote or hybrid (Jacksonville-based preferred) About the Role Current Electrical Contractors is looking for a creative and organized Part-Time Social Media Manager to help grow our brand presence online. You’ll manage our content calendar, create engaging posts and blogs, and showcase the quality work our team does every day—from custom home projects to generator installs. This role is perfect for someone who understands storytelling, values local community engagement, and knows how to turn “just another job site” into compelling content. Key Responsibilities Plan, create, and schedule social media content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) Capture and curate job site photos/videos (or coordinate with field team to gather content) Write captions that align with our brand tone (friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy) Monitor engagement and respond to messages/comments Work with the owner and project manager to highlight recent projects and upcoming services Stay current on trends in social media and contractor branding Contact existing customers and ask if they need our assistance Minimum Requirements 1+ year of experience managing social media for a business or brand Strong understanding of Instagram and Facebook content strategies Ability to write clearly and concisely with personality Comfortable using ChatGPT, Google Gemini, WordPress, Mailchimp, Canva, or similar design tools Self-motivated with good time management Preferred Qualifications Experience working with home services, trades, or local businesses Basic knowledge of SEO and web content optimization Photography/video editing skills a plus We’re Looking for
