Directs and manages multimedia productions. Responsible for live and recorded productions, including cinematography, video editing, graphic design, and post-production technical troubleshooting. Produces video feature stories and digital media content for social media platforms. Operate digital audio and video recording and editing equipment. Conducts research and analysis to measure the effectiveness of content. Develops graphics and templates for social media campaigns and websites using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. Responsible for upkeep, maintenance and security of all job-related digital media areas, equipment and vehicles; audits quality and maintains inventory control of equipment as necessary. Oversees safety precautions and procedures involving equipment. Assists in the development of procedures for use of related equipment and maintains a clean work environment for quality control purposes. Remains current on digital media innovations, procedures and other technical information relating to digital and electronic media production. Acts as a liaison between the University and various digital media professionals in fulfilling stock campus footage and other digital video requests. Completes other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and seven years of experience. (

post high-school education and/or experience may substitute at a comparable rate.) Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in operating video cameras and equipment. Experience with video editing programs and knowledge of journalism, communications, and public relations. The ability to maintain effective working relationships with media, the university, and the community. Experience with long-form and short-form video production. Familiarity with Cinema and/or mirrorless cameras. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects) and Canva.
