Job Title Digital Content Manager Position Overview Shaw Industries is seeking a Digital Content Manager. This position leads a team dedicated to producing the highest quality in retouching, image preparation, color correction, and color matching for photography, videography, and scanned assets that effectively showcase our flooring products. This position collaborates closely with Shaw’s brands across the enterprise to develop visual strategies that align with overall marketing objectives. As a leader, you will cultivate a creative environment, mentor your team, and ensure that all content adheres to brand standards. Additionally, you will manage the department’s budget and project timelines to optimize resource allocation. In this role, you will oversee the creation of digital assets, collaborating with both internal and external partners. Primary Responsibilities:
Coach and develop a team of digital imaging specialists and pre-media scan technicians identifying opportunities for professional growth and skill development. Oversee the production of high-quality digital content, including photography, videography, and room scene renderings that align with brand guidelines. Manage the process of scanning, color correcting images, and cropping ensuring all visuals meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Develop and implement workflows for efficient content creation, including the use of software for color correction in RGB and image editing. Oversee the production process that creates compelling room scenes that showcase flooring products in realistic settings, utilizing design principles to enhance aesthetic appeal. Continuously assess and improve content production processes, seeking innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and output quality. Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to integrate new techniques and methodologies into the team’s workflow. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including brand, merchandising, and product development, to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines. Conduct quality checks on all visual materials before uploading in digital asset management system, ensuring that they meet technical specifications and brand standards. Work with internal and external partners when necessary, managing relationships to ensure that all sourced content meets company standards. Assist brand marketing with naming conventions and storage/retrieval procedures for digital assets for the enterprise Fosters innovation and continuous improvement that makes the operations a competitive advantage for the enterprise Develop, manage, and maintain the department’s budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support content creation initiatives. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of content while adhering to budget constraints.
Position Requirements:
