They bridge the gap between traditional broadcast journalism and the evolving digital landscape. The Digital Engagement Producer is responsible for managing and producing content for WBRZ’s social media platforms. Repurposes news content for social media platforms Works with staff throughout the day to curate daily, original content for multiple departments Works with the digital team to identify opportunities and strategies for engagement Trains staff and keeps up to date on the latest trends on social media Leads special community projects as assigned by the News Director Candidates must have 2 years of professional experience in journalism, marketing, or social media.
