The Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic Communications Lead to strategically elevate the Studio’s visibility and brand narrative. This position calls for a creative and detail-oriented communicator with a passion for storytelling, especially in the context of design. The ideal candidate will have a deep interest in shaping the future of communications, with a focus on leveraging digital channels to amplify the Studio’s message. Collaboration is at the core of this position, working alongside Principals, project teams, and other staff to communicate compelling stories that resonate across a variety of media platforms. What You’ll Do Strategically utilize social media platforms to increase the Studio’s visibility, connecting content to trending topics and enhancing audience engagement. Plan, manage, and execute a comprehensive content calendar to align with the Studio’s business development goals, including firmwide strategic initiatives and project pursuits. Develop and craft compelling stories to be shared across social media, blogs, newsletters, press releases, award submissions, and special publications. Oversee the daily monitoring of social media accounts for both the Studio and key clients, ensuring timely and relevant posts that align with the brand’s voice. Write and communicate compelling narratives for ongoing projects, creating content for the website, blog, press releases, and social media to highlight project milestones and accomplishments. Assist with identifying PR opportunities, writing and editing submission content, and managing follow-up with publication editors. Oversee the Studio blog, including developing an editorial calendar, curating content, and driving engagement through social media amplification. Ensure all communications adhere to brand strategy, core values, and strategic goals. Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to ensure strategic placement of digital content and create targeted email campaigns. Assist with website updates, ensuring content consistency across all public-facing platforms, including news and people pages What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, or related field preferred. 3-7 years of professional experience in public relations, journalism, or content marketing, with at least 3 years of experience in strategically managing social media. Strong, dynamic writing skills and a high visual acuity Proven ability to create engaging narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), and familiarity with tools such as Mailchimp, social media platforms, and website management tools. A genuine passion for architecture, design, and storytelling within creative industries.
