Social Media Manager Tembo Hospitality Group North Carolina • Remote About Us Tembo is a creative marketing agency that helps brands grow with clarity, strategy, and style. While we have deep roots in the hospitality industry, working with resorts, restaurants, and event venues, our portfolio spans a variety of sectors. From coffee roasters with subscription models to lifestyle and wellness brands, we blend strategy, content, and storytelling to help businesses connect and thrive. Position Overview We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to take the lead on digital strategy, content creation, and Meta Ads for our diverse roster of clients. This role is perfect for someone who knows how to turn brand personality into content that performs; someone who has the photography, iPhone video, and paid ad management experience to make it happen. You’ll work closely with our marketing team to build out impactful campaigns that are as strategically organized as they are scroll-stopping.

This position may require occasional travel for content creation and client shoots, including some weekends. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute platform-specific social strategies tailored to each client Capture and create original content, including social media graphics, still photography, and video for Reels, YouTube Shorts, and/or TikToks Write compelling, brand-aligned copy that tells a story and drives engagement Set up and manage Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ad campaigns, including audience targeting, budget optimization, A/B testing, and reporting Oversee daily engagement and community management across social channels Analyze campaign performance and translate data into insights and optimizations Collaborate with our internal team on larger campaign launches and creative planning Stay current on trends, algorithms, and emerging platform features Qualifications 2-4 years of experience managing social media professionally (Agency experience is preferred) Proven success managing Meta ad campaigns iPhone photo and video capturing skills with a strong visual style Experience and comfort with tools like Canva, CapCut, Loomly, or similar platforms (Experience with Lightroom or Photoshop is a plus) Excellent writing skills with a flair for brand voice and storytelling Strong organizational and project management skills Positive, proactive, and adaptable personality to handle changing priorities and client needs Willingness to take creative feedback and direction with a team-first mindset
