Social Media Manager Salon Aura Port Washington, NY 11050 • Hybrid work Job Overview We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of social media marketing, advertising techniques, and digital trends to effectively promote our products and services. Duties Create and manage a content calendar for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms Film and edit behind-the-scenes videos, client makeovers, product features, stylist spotlights, and salon vibes Write engaging captions that reflect our brand voice and boost engagement Grow and interact with our audience, including responding to DMs/comments and encouraging UGC (user-generated content) Track analytics and adjust content strategy to maximize reach and performance Stay on top of beauty and social media trends to keep content fresh and on-brand

What We’re Looking For:

Experience creating short-form video content (especially Reels and TikToks) Strong aesthetic sense and understanding of hair/beauty content Confident with basic photo/video editing tools Excellent written communication and a fun, conversational tone Highly organized with the ability to plan, post, and pivot as needed Available to come into the salon 1-2 days/week for content capture
