Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Content Creator and Social Media Expert to join our team. This role combines content creation/editing and creativity, allowing you to engage our audience while visually communicating our brand identity. You will develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy, create compelling content, and edit said content across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

Shooting and Editing:

You must know how to use a camera that isn’t your phone, how to properly shoot statics and videos and how to edit them professionally. Adobe app experience is highly preferred.

Social Media Strategy:

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Toadfish’s brand voice and business objectives across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

Content Creation:

Create visually appealing content, including photography, videos, and graphics for social media and other marketing channels.

Graphic Design:

Design on-brand visuals for digital advertisements, product packaging, email creation, brochures, and promotional materials, maintaining consistency in the Toadfish brand’s visual identity.

Video and Photography:

Scheduling and managing content shoots and creating engaging videos and photos for both social media and marketing materials, ensuring high-quality on-brand production.

Community Engagement:

Build and nurture an online community by responding to comments and messages, fostering meaningful interactions, and encouraging user-generated content.

Content Calendar:

Plan and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and promotion of products, campaigns, and events.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute creative design solutions that support overall marketing strategies.

Stay Current:

Keep up-to-date with social media trends, design trends, and emerging platforms to enhance Toadfish’s digital and visual presence. Once a month, travel to Tampa Bay for Florida-based content

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field. Outdoor Lifestyle and Fishing Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or Content Creator, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign) and strong design skills. Solid understanding of various social media platforms and digital marketing strategies. Excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for sustainability and environmental conservation is a plus.
