Job Overview We are seeking a creative, strategic, and mission-driven Social Media Manager to lead our online presence. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of current social media platforms, storytelling, and digital marketing, and is passionate about using these tools to glorify God and advance our mission. Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our mission and values. Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok). Monitor, moderate, and respond to comments and messages in a timely and respectful manner. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., fundraising, programs, events) to amplify initiatives and campaigns. Design graphics, edit videos, and curate visuals in line with brand standards and Christian messaging. Track analytics, report on performance, and adjust strategies for engagement and growth. Stay up-to-date on social media trends, best practices, and tools. Maintain a consistent voice that reflects Christian values, compassion, and professionalism. Requirements Personal alignment with the Christian faith and the mission of The Wonders Center. 2+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in a nonprofit or ministry setting. Strong communication, writing, and storytelling skills. Proficiency in social media platforms, scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite), and basic graphic design (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite). Familiarity with video editing software and content management systems (a plus). Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Creative thinker with a heart for ministry and service.
