Social Media Manager and Content Creator Pyrgos, Inc. 8509 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343 Job Overview We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience across various platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital marketing trends and have the ability to create compelling content that resonates with our target demographic. Duties Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. Create engaging content tailored for various platforms, including text, images, and videos. Utilize tools such as Hootsuite for scheduling posts and monitoring social media performance. Conduct thorough research to stay updated on industry trends and audience preferences. Perform social listening to gauge audience sentiment and adjust strategies accordingly. Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing objectives. Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner. Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator, for graphic design projects related to social media content. Oversee video editing projects to create visually appealing video content for social platforms. Qualifications Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role in digital marketing. Strong knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Adobe Illustrator) is highly desirable. Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer. Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights. Strong photography skills with an eye for visual storytelling. Familiarity with video editing software is a plus. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Proven background as a writer and/or editor. Candidate must also be able to write content without the use of AI. Candidate must live in the Chattanooga area or be willing to commute. No Freelancers or BPO, please.
