The essential responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Create content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn Coordinate video shoots/livestreams of member businesses for social content Drive traffic to the website through social interactions Create and manage social contests Interact with Social Media audience (post, like, comment, etc.) Monitor google analytics and social media benchmarks Create Blog content for website Manage appearance of website and refresh graphics and top performing content as needed Take photos/video of Chamber Events Create bi-monthly visitor E-newsletters Create weekly and monthly member E-newsletter Write and submit press release for Ribbon Cuttings/member happenings Manage special projects that relate to digital/social Sales of digital advertising and newsletter advertising placements Manage and organize the Chamber’s digital assets and backup files Design graphics as needed for the Chamber aligning with Chamber Colors/ Business Objectives Attend area events supporting other organizations, as needed Assist in the preparation of the Visitor Guide to go to print
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with all social media platforms Well written Ability to create and maintain connections with members Flexible, self-starter with ability to manage time, organize, and prioritize tasks Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills when interacting with business partners, visitor audience, volunteers and staff Attention to detail and ability to multitask Willingness to learn new skills and apply them to work tasks Proficiency using Microsoft Office Ability to navigate meta business suite to schedule posts, check social analytics, and stay up to date with meta-announcements Ability to edit photos/videos to accommodate lighting and present the best quality content
