Content Writer responsibilities include conducting thorough research on the products from the brands they are assigned to and proofreading their work before publication. If you’re familiar with producing online content, have a love for eCommerce, and a love for niche industry marketing, we’d like to talk to you. Ultimately, you’ll deliver product descriptions and specs, and you will be working with a small team to launch a select line of brands – taking ownership of the appearance of those brands on our website www.smkw.com. Responsibilities Research products to provide accurate specs and written descriptions of products. Write clear marketing copy to promote our products. Proofread and edit product descriptions and specs before publication Work closely with purchasing to make sure that inventory levels and new stock are loaded as timely as possible Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone) Update product content as needed Skills Excellent writing and editing skills in English Ability to meet deadlines Excellent computer skills Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to work in both a team environment and individually with set goals
