Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing the digital content calendar across multiple platforms, coordinating with business owners and partners to ensure timely content delivery, and overseeing key digital marketing initiatives, includinganic and paid social and web content management. This role requires stronganizational, creative, and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally to support various departments, advertising partners, and corporate relations.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Digital Calendar Management
Maintain a comprehensive digital content calendar across web, social media, email, and videomedia platforms.
Coordinate timelines, deadlines, and deliverables across departments and content contributors.
Track content production status and proactively follow up with owners to ensure deadlines are met.
Ensure consistency in brand messaging and voice across all digital channels.
Content Coordination & Management
Work with internal stakeholders, including business owners, advertising teams, and corporate relations, to gather and deliver content aligned withanizational goals.
Ensure content is edited, reviewed, and ready for distribution on time and to spec.
Transfer magazine content from InDesign to the website, optimizing for digital readability and engagement.
Paid & Organic Social Media Management
Coordinateanic social media scheduling and content handoff.
Provide basic support for paid social traffic (e.g., uploading assets, confirming links), under guidance from the Digital Marketing Manager.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for campaign improvement.
Collaborate with creative teams to develop engaging social media content tailored to platform best practices.
Stay up to date with trends in digital marketing and social media and implement best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience Experience in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, content management, or social media coordination, and project management.
Technical Skills Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), social media management tools, and analytics platforms.
Experience with paid social media advertising platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
Familiarity with Adobe InDesign and website content migration.
Soft Skills Strong project management andanizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and departments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in nonprofit, conservation, or outdoor-related industries.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization strategies.
Familiarity with video production and media management for digital platforms.
