Job Description
EDI Analyst 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 11540 East Us Highway 92, Seffner, FL 33584 Rooms To Go is growing again. We are adding an EDI Analyst to our IT team. This EDI Analyst position will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and implementing Rooms To Go’s strategies and initiatives for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that EDI-related production and procedures are properly executed, including development, change requests, and enterprise integration projects. The EDI Analyst will also act as liaison between end users and the IT staff implementing EDI-based applications.
Responsibilities:
Managing EDI transactions and understand ANSI mapping Ensuring all needed EDI documents and mapping are processing correctly Monitoring EDI transactions and communicates with internal and external teams regularly to ensure timely processing of all EDI documents Responding to emails and phone calls directly in a timely manner Performing data audits and quality control measures Executing end-to-end management of all internal and external orders Building and maintain relationships with internal cross-functional teams & external business partners Review, troubleshoot, and implement corrective measures for EDI errors Notifying all appropriate groups of any EDI issues in a timely manner Oversees investigation of all Sales and Customer Service EDI related issues and coordinates with development and operational teams to ensure timely processing of orders Implementing new trading partners
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience performing similar responsibilities within an EDI environment Solid written and verbal communication skills Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field or equivalent work experience preferred Strong understanding of document formats and fields Working knowledge of the Consumer products/wholesale/retail industry Excellent communication/listening skills Self-motivated and results oriented Consistent follow through Strong sense of professionalism Maintain proper conduct and rapport with accounts Able to identify and solve problems in a timely manner Organization – responsible for maintaining all major account files Strong attention to detail & ability to multitask Founded in 1991, Rooms To Go is one of the largest and fastest growing furniture retailers in the US with over 250 stores in ten southern states, eight distribution centers and an e-commerce business.
