Position Summary The E-Commerce & Business Specialist will play a key role in managing and scaling our online store. This individual will own the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, execute marketing strategies (including paid social ads), and analyze performance data to drive business growth. The ideal candidate is equally creative and analytical, with a passion for mission-driven work, storytelling, and digital marketing performance. Key Responsibilities E-Commerce Operations

• Manage the Exit 8480 Shopify storefront, including product listings, inventory management, pricing, and user experience.
• Monitor daily orders, returns, and customer communications to ensure a seamless and responsive shopping experience.
• Oversee product inventory levels, packaging standards, and quality assurance processes to ensure every order meets our high standards and reflects the care behind our brand.

◦ Marketing & Brand Strategy Develop and implement social media ad campaigns (Meta, Instagram, etc.) that drive traffic, conversions, and brand awareness.

Design and deploy email campaigns using tools like Klaviyo. Analyze campaign performance and website metrics to optimize ROI and inform strategy. Content Creation

• Create compelling product descriptions, blog posts, promotional graphics, and ad creative using tools like Canva or Adobe Suite.
• Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice across digital channels.
• Must be savvy in Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook—skilled at creating engaging content, understanding platform trends, and optimizing posts for reach and engagement.

◦ Business Development Support Assist with identifying and cultivating wholesale opportunities and partnerships. Conduct competitive research and market analysis to identify growth opportunities and customer insights. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with educators, program staff, and students to ensure business activities align with the educational goals of Exit 8480. Support events, promotions, and pop-up sales opportunities as needed. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or small business operations.
• Proficiency with Shopify, paid social media advertising (Meta Ads Manager), and Google Analytics.
• Strong copywriting and visual design sensibility.
• Analytical mindset with experience interpreting digital campaign performance.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for mission-driven work and inclusive employment.

• Experience in nonprofit or social enterprise environments.
