We are seeking a Senior Ecommerce Specialist to drive our direct-to-consumer business through data-driven product merchandising, promotional planning, and consumer journey development. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with the ability to implement innovative e-commerce strategies based on data-driven insights. What you’ll do: We are seeking a Senior Ecommerce Specialist to drive our direct-to-consumer business through data-driven product merchandising, promotional planning, and consumer journey development. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with the ability to implement innovative e-commerce strategies based on data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Promotion Execution:
Execute planned promotions, configure eCommerce websites, and request content updates to optimize sales and margins.
Performance Tracking:
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for e-commerce sales, providing insights and recommendations to drive conversion.
Platform Management:
Manage eCommerce platforms, ensuring the correct product assortments by platform and product line.
Sales Monitoring:
Monitor sales consumption and collaborate with the supply chain to ensure product availability.
Promotional Calendar Management:
Align national promotions with D2C-specific promotions and support the execution throughout the user journey.
Sales Operations Support:
Ensure smooth order flow from website to consumer delivery for Brand Sites.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement enhancements in e-commerce sales processes to boost efficiency and customer experience.
User Acceptance Testing:
Participate in testing, provide feedback, and engage in post-deployment monitoring.
Who you are:
Background in sales and eCommerce with a proven track record of growing sales and establishing documented processes. Skilled at prioritizing work, establishing SOPs, and driving key KPIs such as sales, profitability, conversion rates, and forecast accuracy. Ability to work cross-functionally with teams including consumer journey, sales operations, product line, IT, finance, and customer service.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required, MBA preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of related business experience.
Skills and abilities:
Unquestionable business ethics and integrity. Deep understanding of e-commerce sales strategies, tools, and metrics. Demonstrated leadership qualities. Ability to drive change and effectively participate in large, multi-departmental, cross-functional teams to successful achievement of corporate goals. Strong interpersonal skills – ability to thrive in a “matrix” organization. Demonstrated ability to facilitate collaborative solutions to complex, multi-disciplinary problems and articulate features and benefits to appropriate management audiences. Ability to adjust/react quickly to changes and changing priorities. SAP Commerce and ERP (sales) skills are desirable.
