E-Commerce Administrator Assistant Allure Gems LLC New York, NY 10018 Job Description We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Ecommerce Admin Assistant to support our online store operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of ecommerce platforms and processes. Job Summary The Ecommerce Admin Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our online store. This role involves product listing management, order processing support, customer service assistance, and general administrative duties. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our online presence and supporting our sales growth.

Responsibilities Product Management:

Create, update, and manage product listings on our ecommerce platform Shopify and Marketplaces like Walmart.com, Target.com etc, ensuring accuracy in descriptions, pricing, images, and inventory levels. Optimize product listings for search engines (SEO) and user experience. Conduct regular audits of product pages to identify and correct errors.

Order Processing & Fulfillment Support:

Assist with processing online orders, including verifying order details and coordinating with the fulfillment team. Monitor order statuses and address any discrepancies or delays. Manage returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policy.

Customer Service:

Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, or phone regarding orders, products, and general information in a timely and professional manner. Resolve customer issues and complaints, escalating complex cases to the appropriate department. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Website Maintenance & Data Entry:

Perform regular checks on website functionality, identifying and reporting any technical issues. Input and update data related to products, customers, and sales. Assist with uploading promotional content, banners, and blog posts.

Administrative Support:

Organize and maintain digital files and records. Generate basic reports on sales, inventory, and customer interactions. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the ecommerce team.

Qualifications Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certificate in marketing, business administration, or a related field is a plus.

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within an ecommerce or retail environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with common ecommerce platforms . Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Familiarity with online communication tools (e.g., live chat, email platforms). Basic understanding of SEO principles is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
