Job Description

The Opportunity The Merchandising Admin must multi-task and prioritize effectively while executing various tasks to support the administrative needs of the Merchandising Buying Office and/or to create items or add product information for qvc.com or hsn.com. We have various Merch Admin roles that supports both QVC and HSN’s Buying Teams, our collaborative and fast-paced groups responsible for curating and delivering a wide assortment of gourmet foods, seasonal treats, and culinary innovations to millions of customers. The team works closely with vendors, internal partners to bring exciting, high-quality food products to life across platforms. Your Impact Work cross-functionally with various departments (e.g., Legal, Quality Assurance, Planning, and E-Commerce) to submit and follow up on all required information and needs of the assigned Buying Office, with a focus on supporting the Food Buying Team’s unique product and vendor requirements. Collaborate daily with buyers, planners, and digital teams to ensure product data is accurate, complete, and aligned with business goals. Provide administrative and operational support to the Planning Team, tracking product timelines, and assisting with seasonal planning activities. Understand and use internal systems to add customer-facing information to items for sale on QVC/HSN or qvc.com/hsn.com. Add additional information as needed. Ensure items are created in a timely and accurate manner. Support the Buying Team in developing and evolving processes to ensure that department spreadsheets are maintained and accurate, especially for seasonal food assortments and promotional events. Be a floating resource between Buying Offices on an ‘as needed’ basis, sharing knowledge and best practices. Communicate and follow up on business-critical information daily with merchandising, legal, digital operations, and other departments across QVC/HSN. Update partners on issues that arise. Create and maintain documentation on training and work processes. Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative planning to support business initiatives and seasonal strategies. What You Bring You have retail or related experience, preferably with exposure to merchandising. You have excellent knowledge of PC and network systems including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
