Retail Store Assistant and Engraving Assistant Position Available In Greenville, South Carolina

Retail Store Assistant and Engraving Assistant Accutech Engraving & Awards 3500 Wade Hampton Boulevard, Taylors, SC 29687 We are looking for a team member to help with a variety of tasks. These tasks would include creating inventory product templates in the computer, running engraving orders, and helping with other production oriented tasks. They will also be asked to greet customers and help keep the showroom organized. We are looking for someone who embodies a positive attitude with an innovative mind and a drive to learn new things. The ability to work well within a team while also working on their own is essential. There is a lot to learn, but we are willing to train the right person for the job. Minimum 2 years of work experience in any industry is required. You must understand what it means to work with a deadline. You will be expected to gain a general knowledge of base production procedures and assist in any way necessary.

Hours:

Monday through Friday from 10:00AM to 5:00PM with a ½ hour lunch break (These hours can be increased after a three to six month period based on performance)

Pay:

$14.00 to $16.00 per hour pending on prior experience with the industry

Duties:

Create product templates in the computer for items to show in the system Assist in embroidery department Assist in engraving, printing and label department Count items from shipments and inspect them for quality Occasionally help customers with retrieving their order pick ups Dust the showroom shelves and sweep the showroom if needed

Requirements:

Ability to count Experience with spreadsheets and word processing programs Know graphic software helpful (but not a requirement) Ability to juggle two to three tasks effectively at the same time Friendly personality to make the customers feel comfortable in the store Experience being part of a retail environment would be a plus (not a requirement) Use a measuring tape or ruler Type 30
