Our current assistant is heading off to college after three wonderful years, and we’re excited to bring on the next round of support. We’re a small pet boutique with a loyal community, and we’re looking for team members who are excited to be part of that. This role is perfect for students who want consistent after-school hours, are eager to learn how a small business runs, and are comfortable juggling tasks from customer service to content creation. We’re hoping to find rising sophomores or juniors who can grow with us over the next two years and take real ownership in their role. If you’re someone who pays attention to the little things, enjoys being around people and pets, and is ready to pitch in wherever needed—we’d love to hear from you.

About the role:

This is a part-time position, 4 days during the week from 4-6pm during the school year. Training will begin in mid-July during our summer store hours (before 4pm). Additional hours may be requested on an as-needed basis for special events, holiday weekends, school breaks, and extra weekday support. What you’ll be doing: Packing online orders Prepping for Soda City market Receiving inventory, barcoding, and placing products on the floor Running the register and helping customers Store closing duties (vacuuming, cleaning, tidying up) Assisting with social media content during downtime (being comfortable on camera is a bonus, but not required) No experience needed, but you should be: Reliable, with reliable transportation and able to follow through on tasks Friendly and comfortable talking with customers Willing to learn and take initiative Focused on details and organization A pet lover (owning pets is a bonus!)
