Job Summary The Graduate Admissions Coordinator coordinates the graduate admissions process through the use of the Customer Relationship Management system by monitoring the progress of various groups of applicants, coordinating communications, answering student inquiries, facilitating graduate student matriculation, and providing reports to a variety of stakeholders. Developing communication plans to reach prospective graduate students, creating applications for use with the CRM; regularly mining data to report the status of admissions by program and college; interpreting and applying recruitment, enrollment and retention strategies; managing the graduate CRM including continuous additions to and maintenance of email templates, communication plans, targets, applications, cases, forms and users; extensive use of CRM for inquiry and applicant tracking, communications, reporting and recruitment; working with the graduate program admissions issues, participating as a member of the GCSU Graduate Coordinators and Graduate Council, and maintaining student records within Banner and Xtender to ensure compliance with university academic standards.
