The Product Analyst will play a central role in building internal full-stack enterprise tools to transform Heritage Distribution’s operations. This role combines elements of product management, systems thinking, and business analysis to help define requirements, shape product vision, and execute cross-functional development initiatives. Ideal for high-potential early-career professionals with strong analytical instincts, systems thinking, and a bias for action. This role is well-suited to recent STEM graduates or early professionals with consulting-like rigor who want to gain hands-on product development experience while building toward a leadership role in technology or operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with stakeholders to gather, refine, and document user requirements and business needs. Translate qualitative inputs and business context into structured product artifacts (e.g., user stories, flow diagrams, feature specs). Identify and analyze process pain points in existing workflows and propose scalable technical solutions. Conduct user interviews, testing sessions, and retrospectives to gather feedback and support iterative improvement. Support the creation and launch of new internal tools by coordinating timelines, dependencies, and quality standards. Track action items and team progress to ensure initiatives move forward efficiently and with accountability. Maintain an understanding of business operations to serve as a bridge between functional and technical stakeholders. Assist in roadmap development, prioritization exercises, and team rituals to enable mature product development. Contribute to building systems, playbooks, and templates to support scale across the product organization.
KEY EXPERIENCES & SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree required. Preference for STEM or business majors (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Economics, Business). 0-2 years of full-time experience. Strong internship or co-op experience in consulting, tech, or data-driven environments preferred. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical thinking and systems orientation. Track record of delivery results in team projects and working with wide range of stakeholder. Proven ability to break down problems and create structured solutions from scratch. Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional, and ambiguous environments. Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, Figma, JIRA, Linear, Notion etc is a plus. This is a rare opportunity to help build a product organization from the ground up. You’ll work directly with experienced product and technology leaders, gain firsthand exposure to enterprise system design, and grow your career as a future product leader. If you’re entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and passionate about problem-solving, we’d love to hear from you.
